Probably the strongest evidence that I am not the messiah is my lack of woodwork skills. My attempt at producing a bug box was not good. Lets hope the bugs are not fussy.
However, I can dig big holes. Always a skill in high demand.
And with a bit of landscaping I should have a decent pond and potential frog palace ready for the spring.

Nice work Rich. Where's the ladder to get in and out?
The pond is definitely a success. I hope plenty of bugs hibernate inside so they can be gobbled up in the spring by your frogs.
I think you did a pretty good job on the bug box. I had never heard of such a thing but your's looks like the picture in the link.
Did you did that hole this winter?

Dug the hole last week. (has two days of work). The pond is about 7foot wide, 14 foot long and betrween 2 1/2 and 3 foot deep at its deepest.
a little more work and you can have a jacuzzi going too *S*
